AVYA is an insurance-technology and personal risk-management platform operated by Consofella Fintech Private Limited (“Consofella”, “AVYA”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use beavya.in and the AVYA application.
On this page
This Policy applies to beavya.in, the AVYA application, and AVYA features that link to it, including Uncover by AVYA (the Money at Risk assessment), Ask AVYA, Health product matching and Policy Audit. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, or to information you provide directly to an insurer once a proposal or policy is in progress with them.
When you create an AVYA account, we collect details such as your name and mobile number and/or email address. We use a one-time password (OTP) to verify your mobile number or email during registration and login. OTP delivery may involve a service provider acting on our behalf (see “Service providers” below).
To generate your Money at Risk assessment and other personalised features, we may ask about your income, savings, dependants, occupation, existing insurance, assets, liabilities and relevant health information. What you choose to share is up to you; more complete information generally produces a more useful, accurate result.
We use the information you provide to calculate your estimated Money at Risk and generate your report. We store your results and reports in your account so you can revisit them. Money at Risk is an estimate for your own understanding — it is not a prediction that a loss will occur and not a guarantee of any outcome.
We store the questions you ask Ask AVYA and the responses you receive, so you can return to a conversation and so AVYA can give you more relevant answers over time. Relevant questions and relevant profile context may be sent to our AI-processing service provider to generate a response — see “AI-assisted processing through Anthropic” below.
When you use Policy Audit, the uploaded policy document is processed to generate the requested response. AVYA does not retain the original document after that response is generated. We may retain the insurer name, product name and sum insured in your account to support your Money at Risk calculation and continuing personalised analysis.
While a Policy Audit is running, the document you upload is read and analysed in order to answer your question or generate your summary.
Once that response has been generated, the original document is not retained. We do not describe the document as “never stored” — it is processed for the purpose of your request and is not kept afterwards.
From that processing, we keep only the insurer name, product name and sum insured in your account, so this information can continue to support your Money at Risk calculation and ongoing personalised analysis without requiring you to re-upload the document.
The information you share for matching (such as your needs, budget and existing cover) and the personalised list of potentially suitable Health products we show you are stored in your account so you can compare and revisit results. Matching does not use commission or remuneration data.
If you contact us, request support, or ask for a consultation with a licensed insurance professional, we collect what is needed to respond — typically your name, contact details and the substance of your request.
We automatically collect technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and timestamps, generated through normal use of the website and app. This is retained in server and hosting logs for security, troubleshooting and performance purposes.
beavya.in uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics loads automatically when a page opens and begins measuring your visit at that point; we do not currently show a cookie or analytics consent banner before it loads. If you would prefer your visit not be measured this way, you can use your browser’s cookie controls, a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts, or Google’s own opt-out tools.
We process your information to:
Ask AVYA uses Anthropic’s Claude to generate responses. Relevant questions and relevant user or profile context may be sent to Anthropic, an AI-processing service provider, in order to produce an answer. AVYA does not currently use your conversations, assessment information or uploaded policy information to train a foundation model. Information sent to Anthropic remains subject to its own contractual, safety and legal obligations, including its retention and processing practices as a service provider.
Your account and application data is stored using Supabase. beavya.in and the AVYA application are hosted, and certain server-side functions run, on Netlify. Both providers may process or store information on servers located outside India.
We use the following service providers to operate AVYA:
We share with each provider only the information it needs to perform its function, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Personally sourced AVYA customer information — information you share directly with us — is not shared with any insurance broker. If you choose to proceed with a product, information is shared only with the licensed insurance professional you choose to consult, and only to the extent needed for that consultation.
We retain account information, assessment results, conversations and selected policy information while your account remains active and while the information is needed to provide AVYA’s services. You may delete your account or request deletion of your personal information. Limited records may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or compliance with applicable law.
You can delete your account, or write to us to request deletion of your personal information. When you do:
To request deletion, write to hello@beavya.in.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission, restricted internal access, and contractual security obligations on our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Because Supabase, Netlify, Anthropic and EmailJS may process or store information outside India, your information may be transferred and processed across borders as part of using AVYA. We seek to have appropriate contractual safeguards in place with these providers.
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 are being brought into force in phases by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). We align our practices with the principles of this framework and, to the extent applicable, you may:
To exercise any of these, write to hello@beavya.in. We will acknowledge and respond within a reasonable time.
AVYA’s services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a contract under Indian law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
For privacy questions, requests or grievances, contact Consofella Fintech Private Limited at hello@beavya.in. We aim to acknowledge your query promptly and resolve it within a reasonable time.
We may update this Policy from time to time as our services, providers or applicable law change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of beavya.in or the AVYA application after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
